Just outside Cardiff, St. Fagans, the Museum of Welsh Life.
Well worth calling in on either on the way to us, or on the day of departure, if heading back to England along the M4.
The Museum of Welsh Life is free to enter, aside from a couple of pounds or so for parking in their large car park. It comprises a load of old Welsh Houses, each one up-lifted from where they once were, and rebuilt brick by numbered brick, on this site.
Places that would have been lost to History to make way for road building or new development, have thus been preserved in this remarkable museum covering several acers of land.
See our own write up here and visit the official Museum of Welsh Life website here and a separate site here.
